We pride ourselves on having created a sailing community in the country and our aim is always to offer training courses and family experiences. The centre is run by Shayma who is a full-time dedicated RYA Dinghy instructor and she will always be assisted by a trained watersport staff!

Our reputation is one which we are extremely proud of and is based on our record of providing quality instruction, equipment, safety, and of course fun. This reputation has been responsible for introducing many individuals, families, and children to the delights of watersports.

The objective of the school is to provide the community access to dinghy sailing and facilitate a life-long love and participation in the sport and to offer a friendly place with a range of watersports activities including dinghy sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and standup paddling for Kids and adults.

I have been committed to the sport so I bought my own dinghy (Laser Bahia) that I am keeping at the school to encourage more people to fall in love with sailing and also to give me the opportunity to meet like-minded people.

I have started sailing summer 2020 with Kuwait Sailing School and I have been sailing every single weekend. I enjoy Scuba diving too and I have been helping the school with some of the taster sessions to encourage more youth into the sport. I am so excited to be part of this team this summer while I can continue finishing up the rest of my sailing courses.

I've been sailing since I was 8 on an Optimist. I attended several National Championships in Venezuela. I won the 2nd place overall and 1st on the female division on the Optimist class.

From 1998 until 2000 sailed on the sunfish class only at national level obtaining 1st place in female division and overall 6th place.

From 2000 end until 2005 sailed on Laser Radial & was part of the Venezuela national team where I've attended several championships.

Since I have gradutaed and moved to Kuwait in 2009 I have not sailed much. I am so happy that I have found Kuwait Sailing School and I am more than happy to take you all out to try and learn sailing.
